At Always A Memory Quilts, we take your loved one’s clothing and create a treasured memory quilt to commemorate their life for you and future generations to enjoy. MEET OUR DESIGNER
Always A Memory Quilts is a reflection of our passion for the history and artistry of quilt-making. We know from personal testimony, every quilt tells a story, and every quilt holds precious memories.
Kay Peters is our quilt designer, who is an accomplished quilter with 20 years experience. When her mother gifted Kay her first Amish quilt as a wedding gift, Kay was hooked. That gift inspired Kay to refine her craft, while learning from some of the best quilters. Her work has been showcased at quilt shows, and as coveted auction items for non-profit fundraising.
It is a great honor to have a customer share their cherished stories with us. We take our purpose seriously. Seeing the joy in their eyes as they unwrap their finished order. . . that’s why we created Always A Memory Quilts. We just love making people happy.

Aren’t all t-shirt and memory quilts the same?
At Always A Memory Quilts, we produce heirloom quality quilts. We use the time-honored tradition of creating our quilts with sashing, cornerstones, borders, and long arm quilting. We use a stabilizer on the back of each t-shirt image before cutting. This practice assures us that each image is an accurate and precisely square cut. For the backing, we use only soft anti-pill fleece. To finish the project, we bind the two layers together using a long arm quilt machine to create an intricate pattern on the entire project. This edge-to-edge quilting process is why the finished product is called a “quilt,” and not a “blanket.” It’s that process that gives the finished piece its structure and durability, as well as the three-dimensional detail. Our quilts are made to last for future generations to enjoy.
